About Us

Our Story

A Sanctuary of Serenity, Rooted in Nature

Our journey began in the beautiful hills of Nuwara Eliya, where we spent many cherished years raising our family while pursuing our careers—Indira as a doctor and Dasarath as a tea estate manager.

As our children grew and life took us in new directions, we found ourselves drawn back to the peace and simplicity of nature.

Following his passion for agriculture, Dasarath established a cinnamon plantation in Sellakataragama. Our frequent visits inspired us to build a family holiday home, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

What began as our private retreat gradually blossomed into Mailagama Cinnamon Residence, a peaceful haven we now take pleasure in sharing with guests seeking relaxation, privacy, and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality.

We warmly invite you to experience the serenity of our little paradise and create beautiful memories of your own.

Our Achievment

A Place of Peace, Built with Purpose

This has been a process of immense learning. Understanding what our guests seek and delivering it with a caring touch were goals we set very early in that process. Offering relaxation, tranquility, and a full sensory experience came through many years of work. Today we treat our guests as guests to our own Residence. To see them smile, sharing their happiness is our biggest achievement.
